Hatsukoi 1/1 – Maya/Kyou Append Scenarios

Hi there, long time no see.

As promised, here are the Kyou and Maya Append Scenarios. Because my MEGA account got nuked, I decided to include the entire patch in this download. That means you’ll probably have to download some stuff you already have, but it was a bit of a pain to figure out what exactly was new and what wasn’t.

Download the patch here.

Even if you already had our previous patch, please make sure to extract all files from the patch to the Hatsukoi folder, otherwise the appends will not work.

As for what’s next, you might have seen Triplicate’s twitter or our posts in /vn/, but if you haven’t, we have decided to re-read and change some lines of the early parts/routes in Hatsukoi. Trip never was too happy about our earlier work, and he has always wanted to go back and redo some of it.

The “early parts/routes” refer to at least the Common route, Midori route, and Runa route. We haven’t yet decided if we’ll re-read Kyou’s route as well. Let me be clear. We will not be re-translating those routes. We’ll both be re-reading them, and make changes where we deem it to be necessary. Of course, this will take some time, but we want to make sure the quality of the first few patches is up to par.

The timeline is as such:

  1. TLC Hatsukoi 1/1.
  2. Translate Yukino Append.
  3. Release the TLC+Yukino Append patch.
  4. Start Hoshi Ori.

I won’t be bothering with update posts for the TLC and the Yukino append, so the next post will be the TLC/Yukino Append patch.

See you then.

Tsujidou-san no Jun’ai Road Update #40 – Full Patch

I know I said two weeks, but I assume you’ll be fine with two days as well, right?

It’s certainly been a long 10 months, sadly not all of which were filled with positivity. I could go on and on about our feelings for Tsujidou, but to be honest you probably know by now what we think about the game. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected, luckily Renna route was pretty good, so we finished the project on a positive note, unlike with Hatskoi.

Trip wrote a bit on his non-review blog, which you can find here. I pretty much agree with his sentiment about the routes/girls. I just don’t know if I’d rank Saeko as a route/heroine.

We’d like to thank our hacker, rr-, very much for his continued support throughout this project. Without their help, we would not have been able to release this.

Anyhow, here’s the patch.

As always, should you find any mistakes in the script, please leave a comment on this post. We’ll post an updated script sometime in the future.

We’ll now be going on a break, after which we’ll start working on the Hatsukoi 1/1 Append Discs. If you forgot, the ‘route’ order for those Append Discs will be
Maya > Kyou > Yukino.

That’s all for me. See you next time.

Tsujidou-san no Jun’ai Road Update #37

Hi there, sorry for the delayed update.

Like I said two weeks ago, Trip was busy the last few days. I initially expected that we could do one week’s of work during the last two weeks. Let’ see how that turned out.

Common Route Part 1: 100.0%
Common Route Part 2: 100.0%
Ai: 100.0%
Renna: 72.1%
Maki: 100.0%
Saeko: 100.0%
Total: 93.57%

So, 12% in a period where I expected only 10% can be considered a positive thing, yes?

Hopefully we’re going back to normal speeds starting from this week, but no promises.

See you next time.

Tsujidou-san no Jun’ai Road Update #35

Hi there. Another week, another update.

Common Route Part 1: 100.0%
Common Route Part 2: 100.0%
Ai: 100.0%
Renna: 60.89%
Maki: 100.0%
Saeko: 100.0%
Total: 90.98%

I guess we’re nearing a point where one can start making a schedule for a patch release.

Trip’s going to busy at the end of next week and the start of March, so things will slow down considerably during those times. We’re estimating it’ll cause a delay of a week in total.

So, assuming we can keep up the 10%/week speed on the days Trip isn’t busy, we’re looking at 5 weeks for the completion of the translation. That puts it around March 25th.

Let’s be safe and assume we’ll have two weeks of additional work finishing up the patch, and the date that rolls out then is the weekend of April 7/8.

So yeah. If all goes according to plan and we don’t run into any unexpected delays, we hope to release Renna patch by April 8th.

So that’s where we stand right now.

See you next week.
