Hatsukoi 1/1 Progress Update #10.5 (Runa Patch) + Roadmap

Time for a new route.

First, our progress update for this week. We’ll probably still update on the weekend, but this can’t hurt.

Prologue: 100.0%
Common: 100.0%
Midori: 100.0%
Yukino: 0.0%
Runa: 100.0%
Kyou: 13.53%
Maya: 0.0%
Total: 54.41%

As you can see, we’ve decided to go with Kyou for our next route. We hope you like Pizza, you’re gonna see a lot of it.

Now for the more important stuff:

NOTE: These patches will NOT work if you have installed the append/fan discs. Please only use our patch with the vanilla game. We most likely will get to the append discs in the future, but for now please only use the vanilla game.

NOTE 2: It has come to our attention that we accidentally left three lines untranslated. If you’ve already downloaded the patch, please download this and save it to the Hatsukoi 1/1 root folder. If you haven’t downloaded the patch yet, the links below have been updated.

This time, there are files for you to download this time. Please make sure to download the correct file.

Manual Install: Please use this file if you don’t trust random executables from the internet (very smart). In this 7z there are two folders. Please read the readme as to how to use the manual patch.

In short, if you’ve already used the Prologue and/or Common+Midori patch, only copy the files from the RUNA PATCH folder to the Hatsukoi 1/1 root fodler.

If you haven’t use those patches, copy the contents of both the RUNA PATCH and the FRESH INSTALL folders to the Hatsukoi 1/1 root folder.

Automatic Install – Fresh: Use this executable if you have not used the Prologue and/or Common+Midori patch yet. Just run the installer and point it to the Hatsukoi 1/1 folder.

Automatic Install – Runa: Use this executable if you have used the Prologue and/or Common+Midori patch. Just run the installer and point it to the Hatsukoi 1/1 folder.

Now for our roadmap. As you can see in the progress report, we’ve decided to go with Kyou next. As to why we’ve decided to go for Kyou, neither Trip nor I feel very strongly about her. We don’t hate her, but we also don’t think she’s the best girl of the bunch. So it seemed like a good point to do her route next.

Once Kyou is done we will move on to Maya. The reason that we’re going with Maya for our fourth route is that Maya is the second longest route in the game. We fear that if we save her for last we might burn out or not be as fast as we can.

After that, last but not least, we will finish this project with Yukino. Yukino’s route is the shortest route in the game. It is my personal expectation that it will not take us the usual month for us to release Yukino’s route after Maya’s route.

Yukino fans, we hope you can forgive us.

That is all for me for now, I will see you next Sunday.

Great! Maya’s route is the one I most want to play, but since you’re like Ninjas I do not think I’ll have to wait for long lol

Does it now? Then I’m thoroughly confused yet again. Had reports of people using the patch that it did not work with the appends. Might have to try it out myself some time.

Does this game works on Windows 10? Everytime I try to start the game I get a crash. I installed it various times with two differents versions of the game but it keeps crashing

Have you made sure to download the vanilla game without the append discs? The only time my game crashed without an error log was when I tried to launch the game+appends.

Yes, they were clean installations, but just to be sure I am downloading the game from another site, let’s see if that “third time’s a charm” thing is true. I will report back with whatever I find

Awesome progress, thank you so much for your work here. I am curious, though: how are you making this much progress so fast? Translation programs tend to take upwards of half a year or more, so are you guys just burning the midnight oil or is the game relatively short?
