And there we have it. After half a year of hard work, we proudly present you with the full Hoshi Ori patch.

I’ll write up a summary of my thoughts on the VN in the near future – probably the weekend – as well as write up a post on the future (if there even is any) of Tsurezure Scans. For now, just know that we’ve loved working on this VN, and that we’ll miss working on it dearly.

  12. The words “Thank You” just don’t quite feel like they measure up here. It’s been a helluva ride checking in every weekend to see the progress you’ve made and the thoughts you’ve had. Regardless of your future plans, I will miss this.

    Best of luck in deciding where you go from here! Many of us will be sad to see you go if you choose to end it here, but you can tell all the effort and passion that went into a project like this! Give yourselves a huge (figurative) pat on the back for such an amazing job! You damn well deserve it.

    And even if it doesn’t feel like nearly enough:

  19. I’ve done all I can to troubleshoot on my own and I’ve gotten nowhere. I get this error, and I have no Idea what I need to do to fix it.

        I have the same problem. I already checked the savedata & saves folder from the patch and their empty. I tried to launch game using launcher or even alpharomdie using siglus engine but I still can’t get it to work.

        I’m thinking of restoring the original unstranslated files and opening the game unstranslated. Then maybe I need to delete all my save data from there manually? will this work?

    Anyone know what the issue is? It looks like a video codec problem.. but my codecs are all up to date. This happens when the game first boots up, and it will immediately shut down if I attempt to proceed.

    If you just straight up install the game from the link and drag patch into it and replacing original contents it seems to fail with bad allocation error with some Japanese text.

    Just want to shoot out a thanks for everything that you’ve done. Not only for Hoshi Ori, but for Hatsukoi 1/1, Tsujidou and all your subbing as well. If this is the end, I doubt we’ll ever see another VN Fansubbing group with your speed and quality again. The VN community is in your debt.

    Congratulations! You guys have proven once again that you are the best translator group out there for VNs. It’s not just empty praise, I have seen many translator group over the years and let’s just say they don’t handle well time constraints, but you guys have a lot more discipline than that.
